First of all, the 2400 has probably the worst noisiest audio inputs I've
ever heard on anything. So if you want truly clean audio pick something
else, like a 1400 or a Wallstreet that you can put a 400 or 500 mhz G3
upgrade in. Anything but the 2400. As a matter of fact, if I were looking
for something right now I'd probably buy the upgrade and then choose the
powerbook!

The other option for any PCMCIA slotted book is a digital audio card like
the Digigram VX Pocket @ $600 and up.
