I've been a long time lurker on this list (conducting any direct contact
off list) and have benefited greatly from you all. Unfortunately it is now
time to sell my 2400. Work bought me 2 new computers this past couple of
months (laptop and desktop), taxes were onerous this year, and I've got
this hankering to buy a house. So.....
If you're interested please contact me at the address below and off list of

It's in great condition, works well, shows v.little wear (never used as
hard as a work laptop might be). Here's some of the particulars. Contact
me directly for any additional details.
2400
Newertech G3, 240mhz and 1 meg cache
80 megs RAM
4.3 gig Hard Drive (MCE installed)
Original Floppy drive
Sony PDR-250 external scsi CD-ROM (good for installing software)
Kensington Mouse in a box
Dayna Communicard, combo 56K (kflex) and 10 base T
(works v.well with both work novell LAN/T1 and my DSL service at home)
OS 8.6 installed, cd with OS 8.0
Also:
Original 180 mhz PowerPC board
Original 1.2 gig Hard Drive
both in good working order (nothing wrong with them at all when upgraded)
Targus standard low cost notebook carrying case (new condition)
I have NOT had cardbus enabled and have NOT tried a cardbus card
Cost: $1200 or best offer
