LOL
Silly me! I kept seeing "His True Highness" or "How The Hell" or anything
but what it simply was. Thanks for the instant grats.
As far as keySleep goes, an Applescript sounded doable.
So I did it. In ScriptEditor, I typed:
tell application "Finder"
activate
sleep
end tell
Saved as a run-only app, named it "asleep", left it on the desktop. Now I just
Switch-It to Finder, type "a", then Command O. Works like a charm!
As I said, it rarely happens, but this'll beat a cold reboot.
p.s. today a door latch snagged my finger just enough to loosen my grip, and
down went the powerbook, 2 feet to the concrete. I just about SMP.
I felt as sick as if I'd just dropped a baby on its head, but the little guy
bonged right up and is still humming along, tho the battery seems
to be DOA, even though it still shows up in the Control Strip. Still, could have
been tons worse. Be careful out there! That gravity's a killer.
Signed, Relieved.
