Dear Nick,

In what way is 7.5.5 dreadful? Please understand that I run system 8.6 when
I'm at home, and the 2300c is installed in the DuoDock. The docking station
disk drive has a lot more room, and besides, at home I mostly use a G4.
What I'm trying to do is come up with a stripped-down OS that will maximize
speed for just a couple of applications, namely email and web-browsing, for
when I'm on the road.

Yours truly,
Lewis Coleman
