I recently put MacOS 8.1 on my Duo 230, and it's surprisingly usable. It
started with 12 megs which limited it a lot without tons of VM, but I
recently upped it to 24 and I'm really surprised at how well it's doing.
With as much as I use things like Spring loaded folders and a couple 8.x
only progs, it is worth it. Sometimes it feels faster in response than my
2300c with 8.1 or 8.6. Plus it's just darn fun to be running 8.1 on an '030
