As for Micheal's ethernet suggestion (for transferring stuff from 2400 to
iBook), I don't know what that is, so i guess I must not have it. ;-) My 2400
is pretty much the way it shipped, except with a bigger HD and a little more
RAM. I didn't get it cardbus enabled or anything. Anyone have other
suggestions? (Or is ethernet something I can just get a PC card for? What
about firewire?)

Thanks again,

Corina,
I, like many 2400 users, am very happy. The only limitation I have
encountered that is of any great importance is the replacement battery cost.
As long as I don't need a replacement, I'm fine.
The 2400 is an amazing laptop. I depend on it, and it delivers. My entire
business pretty much runs on it.
I guess the only other thing that could be considered a limitation is the RAM
limit, but even the 80 MB that I have works pretty well, if I watch out how
many programs I open and use VM judiciously. So I won't be running OSX any
time soon... Well, that's when I get a new laptop.
Meanwhile, I have ethernet, USB, 56k modem, digital audio and CD/RW
capability via the card slot (I don't have a Firewire card, though is
available). I run Virtual PC flawlessly (well, as flawlessly as Windows98
runs!)
And I can open it on a plane seat, even in coach!
