One PC card drive w/emergency repair utilities and enough capacity to swap
files, standard modem phone line and maybe a digital line tester. Depending
on your habits, leave 2nd battery & floppy drive. Take auto/air adapter if
relevant.
Try to find a 96mb ram card--> goes to 112mb! It's EXPENSIVE but very
worthwhile.

Yeah, since the main functions on the road are text or web related, the 2400
serves fine. I've already foreseen I'd leave my G4-Ti at home too, even
after I buy one. BTW, I measured the 2400 at 10.5 x 8.25 x 1.75 in and
around 4 lbs w/o floppy. The measurements given on websites haven't been
correct. Even the bigger iB2 at 5 lbs is a significant difference in
miniature crazy Japan.
