My partner's 2400c is doing the following: When you attempt to put it to sleep while running on battery power, it will go dark for a second and then wake up again immediately. If it is on AC power, it sleeps peacefully, but as soon as you disconnect the AC, even if the machine is closed it will wake up. I have trashed energy saver preferences, reset the power manager, zapped the PRAM etc. etc. What could be troubling our little friend so much that he can't sleep?
