My first dock didn't have the power cord. A local PC guy suggested using the cables
from a power supply. 5 volts is 5 volts. 3 volts is 3 volts. Figure out from the
schematics (available on Apple's site) which is which and you can fashion
connections--no need for the funky square plug.
