The also did not just "steal" the information and run with it.
I was part of a beta program where they had a select variety of
PowerBooks modified at their expense. They picked beta based on
different aspects of the PowerBooks and the cards that we were
intending on using.
So, they did research before offering anything. If it wasn't really
possible, they would have lost a bunch of money just trying it out.
They put their neck on the line and I think they deserve to be
rewarded. Would you rather pitch in for the research ahead of time
and put your money where your mouth is?
You can do what you want. I was willing to pay the $100 as well. And,
I have done more business with them because they are an excellent
company to work with.
