I haven't been following the topic closely, but most notebook drives do
produce a rattle and it is normal.  I personally have only used Toshiba
drives, but they all rattle, they all say "Rattle noise is normal" on the
top of the drive, and they all work fine.  If you put the drive in and it
works fine, then there should be nothing to worry about.
