Cards & Socket was an update for the 2400 & 3400 series powerbooks PC card
slot, starting with OS 8.1, I think...after that, it was included with the
full installs of the MAC OS...are you running less than OS 8.6 on your 2400?
If so go to Apple and download the C&S update...
