After seeing one of those Japanese pages where someone did the same 
thing, I wanted to do the same with my 2300c. It looks like a great 
idea! Get a slim IDE hard drive, pull a SCSI-Ethernet adaptor out of 
it case, wire it up to the internal SCSi hard drive port and put a 
10BaseT port on the back.

I almost did that, but then I got my 2400 :-)

Someday this summer when I get bored I'll give it a try, I just need 
a ethernet-scsi adaptor and a slim hard drive.
