I've been running Eudora ever since I got on the internet in 1991. I remember 3.0 and 4.x didn't like 8.6 and were never very stable and alwyas complaining about low memory, but I'm running Eudora 5.0 under MacOS 8.6 right now and I runs great. >I have used Eudora for 10+ years.
