Or it doing a reverse DNS lookup, and gets confused on a LAN that it 
can't see beyond the NAT.  Effectively the same thing :) -- weird 
pause, just like when you launch the file sharing control panel and 
it takes 30 seconds to pop up.  Normal.  Frustrating.  Nothing broken.
