How much RAM do you have? It would be normal to go even 15-20 sec. from the
time you hear the "chime" to when you at least see a white screen. You
won't observe anything during post and ram test.

Hmmm. Interesting one here. If you're continuously getting the ' X ' over
the battery with all 3 batteries, problem may not be with the PM but rather
the Power I/O card. Just keep trying that PM reset several times. Follow
the suggested PM reset process as outlined on the Mac2400 site.

If nothing becomes of it, then it looks like it's time to call MCE, DT&T,
After Hours, or someone like that for repair.
