The x on the battery sounds like what I had for 5 months or so... One day it wouldn't
come on at all and I ended up having to get a new I/O board from DT&T. The problem
started I believe when 2 screws came loose from the 240mhz Newer card. The Newer card
also ended up nonfunctioning, though DT&T said that they could fix it... Any one know
how that is done?? I'd be very interested in how to bring a dead newercard back to
life!!
