During my recent trip I think my 2400 took a lot more abuse then what
it's used to.

Since I've gotten back, the backlight has done a lot of flickering
(more like a bright flash) that I normaly see when a plug-in or
unplug power. Sometimes my 2400 starts running on battery for awhile.
This is not a good thing.

At first I thought it was the power plug because my 2400 has slid off
a chair, while pluged in, falling on it backside with the power port
taking most of the force. But, wiggling the connector dosn't always
seem to do anything.

I took apart my 2400 and inspected for damage, but could find nothing obvious.

So, I think the power board in my 2400 is about ready to die. I'm not
one to take a soldering iron to it, so what place will over me the
fastest and most inexpensive swap?

Or, my 2400 is doing this just to spite me 'cause I got a Cube when I
got back and I've been giving it most of my attention. My Duo 2300c
did the same thing when I got my 2400. I Swear my 2300c said ... "Oh,
you're replacing me? Don't expect me to make it easy for you to get
your data ... -corrupts hard drive- ... Ha! That's what you get!"

Or, maybe I should stop being so parinoid that my computers are out
to get me ...

Or, is that what I get for naming my computers after overly powerfull
and strong female Anime types?
