I agree you would have a hard time trying to convince the person in 
charge. But the fact that they don't have to engineer the card from 
scratch may play to our advantage.

On the whole I agree with you, but if next generation processors are 
faster, cooler and cheaper than the present g3, why not use them?

Okay Sidney, I am pessimistic. You have been the only one to answer 
this thread so far, we both own g3 upgraded 2400c's, and the arrival 
of the new iBook isn't exactly good news.

But I am also intrigued and I will be happy to volunteer for this 
once. Those of you willing to buy a g3 or g4 upgrade for their 
2400c's, please write to me at mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] stating 
their minimum requirements (say, a g3@400Mhz, or whatever) and how 
much they would be willing to pay.

I will keep you people updated on how this list goes.
