Cracking it open is the easy part it comes apart quite easily... it's keeping track
of the 30 or so screws that you need to remove to get to the pram battery that is
hard. I've only had mine apart a few times, but once was to replace the pram battery
(that wasn't entirely the problem) and I seem to recall that you had to pull almost
every board out to get to the pram battery. It slides in and out of a metal enclosure
all you have to do is look at how it fits . It's quite easy to pop in and out. The
trick I used to keep track of all those screws that I got from the list was to place
double sided tape on a piece of paper then place the screws in order as you remove
them on the tape, You can also write down what ever notes you need on the paper above
the screws to help you remember any of the tricky parts. Hope this helps,
