good point. I'm used to taking my own photos or making my own scans,
I just assumed that everyone else did the same.

also important. if you haven't bought or sold anything yet, start off with a
couple cheap items to gain some feedback. it doesn't matter much whether
you're buying or selling, as long as you have some positive feedback. add to
that, it's best not to have the "shades" icon by your name - especially if you
want to sell something high value, as most people will avoid you until you
lose the shades.

I always quote shipping up front and state "no handling fees, buyer pays
acutal postage only". I also check the box stating that I'll use an escrow
service - so far no one has ever asked, but I imagine that it provides some
peace of mind.
