You should be able to format SMCs on a 2400 seamlessly between PCs and Macs (99% sure, but check the Toshiba format--it should be PC). I have several Sandisk large capacity PCMCIA ATA flash cards. Recently one got corrupted and supposedly it had to go back to Sandisk for reformatting. As a last resort I put it in the 2400 and just ran "erase" from the Finder. Reformatting was purr-r-fect. Only format Mac if you need an emergency boot drive. Otherwise keep it PC--it then works universally across all platforms. ---------- Duo/2400 List, The friendliest place on the Net!
