Since someone else on this list is also having a OS 9.1 system upgrade
problem, try this:  downgrade to OS 8.5, upgrade to 8.6, optimum for the
2400. If you want to experiment with 9.1, load it on another HD or partition
and troubleshoot from a clean system install. 9.1 may require many software
and extension upgrades. Conflict Catcher must be at v.8.0.8. It is unlikely
to be ram but could be any software conflict. 9.1 works fine on the 2400.
