When I upgraded my 2400 to OS 9.1 I was shocked when on restart it hung. My set up is NewerTech G3 240 512k, MCE Cardbus upgraded, 80Meg, 10Gig. The reason it failed was I had a USB card in the slot which OS 8.6 allowed me to start up with but OS 9.1 did not. Once I removed it, it was fine.
