Paul, add me to the list of those in your corner. I REALLY hope that this is just a misunderstanding of the way things are in the repair world. Ilene, MANY items are NOT available except to those with the big bucks to have a major repair shop and do a high volume on the parts....Paul would have to make a HUGE investment to get such parts. I REALLY hope this gets straightened out....and we all need to understand that certain component parts are NOT available except thru "offical" channels...ever try to get a sound chip for an Apple logic board? I did....by the time I would have received it, it would have cost more than the board I was repairing....this is why I DO NOT offer my services for public use....I admire Paul, DTT and MCE for doing so, and will use them when needed.
