Depends if the Duo can drive the chips.  You'd have to get the 
bus/clock/read/write lines sorted out.  My reference to the Palm was that the 
boards were double sided, and the chips went on the reverse side of the 
board.  Took it from 1 meg to 2 megs.  Also needed SMT soldering 
gear....can't do it with the old Weller!

As for yours, I'd have to check...if you're going to spend the $$ to build a 
card, the higher cap. cards always sell for more, thus higher profit.  Don't 
know why anyone would do that.....but that is why marketing departments 
exist, to generate obfuscation.  At least that is the engineering dep't 
theory!!  <<grin>>
