Currently my Duo 2300 is hooked up to my Alesis 6.1 Synth, and
running Cubasis to compose and sequence music. Since all it is doing
if firing MIDI down the serial port, it has no trouble keeping up.

Well, It can play mp3 (barley) if you use GrayAmp or a super early
version of MacAmp. However, the mono sound kinda kills it for good
mp3 use. I swear the 16bib mono, sounds like 8bit sometimes.

iCab made the 2300 useable to the web. I have always done most of my
internet via a DLS or T3 via ethernet. I've sometimes used my Sprint
PCSmobiel digital phone to surf at 14.4 when I have had to.

The Internal Express modem has been almost useless because of how
unreliable it has been for me.

>4. What apps do you use regularly?

Cubasis, ClarisWorks and Rebirth
