I've been on the list for 2 years and 5 months, and I've never had a
problem with my PB 2400c. I think that there is a bias to posts, i.e., I
don't email the list everyday and say, "Hey--my 2400 is working today!"

Rather, everybody who has a problem probably posts here as their first
remedy. So inherently there is a bias towards reporting problems.

Just my $.02
