>I've been on this list for about two years, and I would say that >this machine is a high performance and high maintenance item, requiring >either more money or more expert time than I have. For someone who hasn't >paid their dues and torn machines apart and reassembled them, buying a 2400 >seems just silly to me. I've been on the list for 2 years and 5 months, and I've never had a problem with my PB 2400c. I think that there is a bias to posts, i.e., I don't email the list everyday and say, "Hey--my 2400 is working today!" Rather, everybody who has a problem probably posts here as their first remedy. So inherently there is a bias towards reporting problems. Just my $.02 --Charles ---------- Duo/2400 List, The friendliest place on the Net! A listserv for users and fans of Mac subportables.
