Drive # MK 3211MAT
The At at the end of the drive number indicates that this is an ATA drive.
If it was indeed pulled from a Duo 270c then it has an ATA- SCSI convertor
attached.
Since there is not a Picture of the bottom of the drive we can't tell for sure.

The Mounting holes are spaced wider apart, the drive isn't any wider.

no
I have a 6 gig drive from an I book in my 2300 and it works just fine.
Only thing is that I can't do SCSI disk mode with it now.
