My 2400 lives most of it's life in a BookEndz dock. After a plane ride to Seattle, it traveled under the seat in a padded bag, I booted it up and heard very expensive squealing/high pitched sounds from the HD. It ultimately settled down to the normal sounds. So now I don't know if it was pressurization issue, symptoms of things to come...or just the harddrive readjusting itself after the pressure change. TechTool Pro didn't find anything wrong. Any world travelers and or our resident geeks and wizards have any thoughts? It's a Hitachi 10GB which has not suffered from the same familiar history we've seen with the IBMs. Thanks...
