Well, as a University Student, I just picked up a tricked out 2300c
to serve as a road warrior companion to my G4/400 desktop and my
Newton MP 2100 (yes, I'm a gadget freak)

To me, the duo makes for a darned fine companion machine to the G4.
It was cheap, it's lightweight, and and has enough processing power
to do everything that I need to do on the road. I can word process
on it, read my email, do some basic surfing, and connect into my home
network via a VPN link).

Basically, I don't need all the processing power available on the new
iBook. If I'm going to do anything that requires a lot of juice, I
can just use my desktop, which is better suited anyhow.

Anyway, that's my $0.02

Regards,

Hans
