I am thinking of replacing my aging PPC 7200/90 36mb RAM with my DUO 2300C
56Mb RAM (along with a duo dock) as a work station. First, would there be any
disadvantages? The only negative I see so far is my 7200 has a cd rom which
reads my cd-r and cd-rw discs. (I have a lot of stuff on disc) - My old
external cd-rom does not read cd-r or cd-rw - Second, what cd-rom should I
hook up to my DUO Dock? Is an internal possible? Or, should I just get an
external that I can use with my mini dock on the road? Advice on the switch
over and any other suggestions are welcomed & appreciated.
