I'm getting motivated to acquire (i.e., seeing job descriptions asking
for) knowledge of unix. So it would seem that if I have a raft of extra
disk space -- maybe, my old 1.3GB drive that's in that plugin gizmo
that I never use -- that I could give some linux or other a spin on the
2400.

If my objectives are to learn basic command line navigation, typical
command names, and perhaps to write some pascal that'd work in other
linux environments, which should I try?

This seems relevant to the 2400 since the 80MB limit and screen support
are possible limitations that other h/w could ignore. Ideas, or
ideally, experience from anybody else? Is this a phantasy? are there
other objectives that I should consider?
