Hello all,
I am a new member to this list. I have a Duo 2300C, which I use as a
second Computer attached to my network via the Duo dock it normally sits in.
About two weeks ago, I need to use the Duo alone, no dock. I ejected the
book, and I was unable to boot the computer. Prior to this I had been
receiving random crashes and improper shut downs.
Since the Duo will not boot, I am thinking it may be the PRAM Battery.
Has anyone else on this list had this problem, Does it sound like a PRAM
Battery, if so does anyone know where I can get a PRAM battery for the
2300C, as the local Mac service center wants $150.00 to install the battery,
and states that it is a service required part and will not sell me just the
battery. Last, has anyone installed one of these batteries, who could
provide instructions or a guide to installing this battery.
Thank you for your help in this matter.
Sam Di Matteo
