> I've got what I think is a NewerRam 48mb memory chip that appears to be failing. It will only report a total of 44 MB in my 2300. So I'm interested in investigating the lifetime warranty. First of all, how do I tell for sure that it is a newerram memory module. It has spectrum engineering on the top card. Also it is a piggyback card, where one card sits on top of another. Wasn't that unique to Newerram. Second, I though newer went out of business. Although newerram has a web page and appears to be up and running. I looked at the NewerRam web page and it looks like they have the right to repair or replace the memory or refund the purchase price. Obviously, I want it fixed, since newer doesn't even sell 48mb modules any more I'm not likely to get it replaced, and memory for these things are higher than cat's backs. Finally, I don't have a receipt. Any of you had any experience in excercising warranty rights with Newerram or any other ram manufacturers? What was you experience. -- John Slavin Farr, Hickman & Slavin 101 West Illinois P.O. Box J. Kirksville, MO 63501 [EMAIL PROTECTED] ---------- Duo/2400 List, The friendliest place on the Net!
