That is just what I was talking about. The teachers don't run the schools, the administrator's and the School Board's do and most of them are completely out of touch with the classroom. Superintendents have been out of teaching so long that they have no idea what is going on with teachers and students and School Board members have never been in a classroom. The teachers can be inflamed all they want, but it will do no good, when a political decision like purchasing Dell's have been made. Superintendents are politicians and not teachers, and they along with School Boards have no knowledge of Mac's and little with PC's. In my computer lab at school, I had twenty Dell's (all new) and fifteen Mac's and the repair rate for the Dell's was twenty times that for the Mac's. The price for the Dell's came in far lower than the Mac's, but when we finished purchasing all the cards needed so they did the same thing, they were actually higher priced. I told our school board this and they began removing the Mac's anyway and replaced them with Dell's and simply ignored my recommendation. This is not good news for Apple! Tom > From: "Mark A.
