Oh goody, Apple has come out with a new gadget that I have to have,
the iPod. Problem is that my entire mp3 music collection (that I own
every CD for, all 15 gigs of it, thankyouverymuch) sits on my 2400.
D'oh!

I currently have a NewerTech FireWire card, and it doesn't provide
power that the iPod needs.

So, what other FireWire cards are out there, and how well do they
work on the 2400?

I'd very much like to use the iPod, and it seems like it would be the
perfect companion to my 2400 and it's no so spectacular battery life.
And much more durable than my 2400 riding shotgun playing tunes on my
long commute to work.
