The RATOC card works well on the CarBus upgraded 2400c, and you can 
buy an optional power adapter to supply power to the FireWire ports. 
But the iPod has a battery as well, so I don't know for certain if it 
requires a powered FireWire port. I guess we will have to wait and 
see how well it works on the 2400c.
