Hello everyone My 2300c has just been upgraded to OS 8.1 , works excellent. There is a problem, it will no longer recognize the internal modem .Does anyone know were I can get a modem driver for my beloved Duo? or is there some kind of special setup within the OS. Also , thanx everyone for all the advice on batteries and rebuild instructions and details. I have found that the person who was initialy helping me with getting parts and helping me weld everything together has become disinterested. This forced me to look for someone else to do this job . He is charging me $120 Canadian to do everything . This is not a bad price compared to the hundreds of dollars that everyone else whants .He is willing (it seems to do more jobs like this . I will see if what he does even works and do some testing then and only then will I release the location. I'm sorry if this offends anyone , but I had a person do work on my duo (replace the pram Batt ) and he ended up cracking my palm rest. He had come with all kinds of references from a local user group. It is for this reason that I am waiting to see what happens before I suggest the service to anyone else.
