I've run my 2400 with OS9 using an external drive in the past. I recently upgraded to a 96MB DIMM and 30GB internal HD and partitioned it to include an OS9 disk. I used Drive Setup 1.7.2 for the partitioning. The OS 8.6 segment works fine.
When trying to start it gets to the OS9 flash screen and then freezes, i.e., no cursor, no extensions have loaded. I also tried doing an immediate upgrade to OS 9.1 before restarting, but got the same response. Any ideas?
