I have a great lightweight SCSI CD-ROM drive made by Pioneer which is left over from when I had a PB 2400. The speed is 24x, so it's quite speedy. It uses a standard HD50 SCSI cable, and I am including two different SCSI cables and a SCSI plug adapter to connect the drive directly to your PowerBook or daisychain it with other SCSI devices. It includes a padded carrying case, software driver on floppy, and a nice, light AC adapter. Also runs on 6 AA batteries.
You can see a photo of the drive here: http://home.mindspring.com/~justallie/macstuff/pioneercdrom.jpg Asking $100. E-mail me off-list if interested. :-) Allie [EMAIL PROTECTED] ---------- Duo/2400 List, The friendliest place on the Net! A listserv for users and fans of Mac subportables.
