I am sure that this issue has been beaten to death on the list in the
past, but I haven't found a way to search the archives. After putting
my powerbook 2400 through the airport x-ray (it was in sleep mode), the
machine would not turn on, regardless of whether there was a battery
attached or the power adapter. I have tried unplugging all power
sources and holding in the reset button, but nothing happens. I
inserted a pc card and even with the power plugged in, the eject buttons
do not eject the card (I seem to remember this working in the past). Is
this a symptom of a bad PRAM battery, or is there some way to force a
reset of the power manager other than holding in the reset button?
Thanks in advance for any help.

Jonathan Clay
