Hello all, after many weeks poking at the guts of my 2400, and some other 2400 parts that were loaned to me (thanks, you know who you are!) The 2400 VRAM upgrade to 2 megs looks 95% possible.
The downside is the only few places I can get the M5M4V4265CTP-6S video RAM chip from either wants a lot of cash for a few, or wants me to order 2000+ of the chips. either way I'd have to spend more than $1000. Here's the questions: How much would you be willing to pay to have your 2400 upgraded to 2 megs of VRAM? Would you just want to buy the VRAM and try and do it yourself? How may would be interested in this upgrade?
