Just to follow up on Mark's note: 1) I used OS 9 and 9.1 on my 2400c with 112 MB RAM before a 320 MHz G3 upgrade and it ran fine before and after. OS 9/9.1 are not constraining for most any normal use. One just can't keep every app open or quickly modify very large images.
2) The custom Adtec 96 MB RAM chip needed for 112 MB RAM is starting to get rare in Japan. We had unusual difficulty locating one for Mark so the end of their availability seems near.
