All, My 2300c arrived on Thursday, from a fellow list member. I got my first chance to play with it extensively last night.
All seems well, except for the fact that it acts weird in both of my DuoDocks. At certain screen resolutions that are fine for my 280c, there is a pronounced vertical banding in windows and highlighted selections. I can work around this by going to a less preferred resolution. The more troubling problem is that the machine doesn't appear to be able to use the ethernet port in my Dock II, or the NuBus ethernet in my "regular" dock. The TCP/IP control panel lets me set IP parameters for the ethernet port that don't seem to take effect. If I try to set the Appletalk control panel to use ethernet, the machine locks up hard. My 280c's work just dandy in either dock. I've done a full, clean install of both 7.6.1 and 8.1 with no 3rd party software, and the behavior is the same. Any ideas?
