AFAIK, the 2400 does have OpenFirmware, so it is technically a PCI PowerMac. It's doubtful that you will simply be able to run UnsupportedUtilityX and get OS X to run, but give it a shot. If not, contact Ryan Rempel (http://homepage.mac.com/ryanrempel). He is the person doing the UnsupportedUtilityX development, and can most likely add support for the 2400 with a little help from you.
