Since no one has answered yet, I'll give it a go even though I'm not the best one to answer it :) As far as I know, OS X won't run on the PB2400 at all due to the ROM setup. Of course, if you're curious it can never hurt to try booting the setup CD if you have one you can borrow with the Unsupported X and other things like it.
