Sorry for being off topic but I know a few people here use iMovie and firewire peripherals on 2400s.
I am planning to upgrade a 299Mhz Beige G3 tower with a PCI firewire card. However I am being told that the minimum requirement is 300Mhz. Does anyone have experience with firewire and particularly iMovie at a slower processor speed such as the 240Mhz upgrade in a 2400?
