<<Though no fan of Bill Gates, I've had to admit the IE 4/4.5/5 is probably

the best on my 2300. Netscape Communicator is respectable too, if you have

the memory. I've found that IE is a little faster overall, but unstablish.

Netscape can take forever to load initially, but runs pretty well once

loaded with a somewhat bigger memory foorprint than IE. I've taken to using

Communicator 4.08 on my 280c and 4.7 on my 2300, though I don't use either

of them online very much. I do keep IE 5 on my 2300 just in case I run

across a site that needs it.>>

If you don't need NS Mail and all the other NS Communicator stuff, just
download the standalone NS Navigator 4.08, and I'm sure you'll get a much
smaller memory footprint. Perhaps use URL Manager Pro for your
bookmarks(works with any browser) so your browser won't have take more time
loading its own bookmarks when started up.
