About the screws.  (Gleaned, I think, from the archives of this list.)
2.5mm mini screws will fit.

The only 2.5mm mini screws I could find at the local hardware store were
silver in color with slotted heads and were longer than the 10/11mm
originals.  I was able to cut them down with side cutters and a little
filing and they fit fine. A bit unsightly but they are recessed and on
the bottom of the Duo.

If only 2 screws are needed there are two torx screws inside the Duo
(securing the battery terminal if I remember correctly) that can be
replaced with the new screws and then used outside the case for that
original look.
